What inspired you to get into biking, Jay, and how did you end up at Savage Bicycles?
Savage Bicycles is a family business, and since I enjoy riding with my friends and family, it only made sense for me to learn the family trade.

Jay, if you could design your dream bike, what features would it have and why?
My dream bike has already been built, and I’m fortunate enough to own it!

Jay, what’s your favorite biking memory or adventure, and what made it so special?
Our shop trip to Purgatory in Durango, Colorado, was absolutely amazing! I got to spend the week hanging out with my crew, and hitting the trails at the park gave me the perfect opportunity to talk smack to my friends.

If you could ride any trail or path in the world, Jay, where would it be and what’s the first thing you’d do once you got there?
I would choose Big Bear, California. It would be awesome to not only hit the downhill park but also relax by the lake afterward.

What unique skill or hobby do you, Jay, have outside of biking that makes you a great addition to the Savage Bicycles team?
My sense of humor and my ability to talk smack! It definitely helps keep the morale of the shop up—just ask any of my friends!
