What inspired you to get into biking, and how did you end up at Savage Bicycles?
I started as a young kid, building little ramps and riding around the neighborhood with my friends. Then, my friend’s mom took us to Chandler BMX, and I fell in love with the spirit of the sport! One thing led to another, and here I am, almost 30 years later, fixing bikes and still riding with my friends. I ended up at Savage when I moved out to the west side of town. While riding around, I needed some air in my tire, so I stopped by, talked to Adam and a few others, and one thing led to another. Now, I’m working with great people and building people’s dream bikes while putting smiles on their faces every day.

If you could design your dream bike, what features would it have and why?
I’m not sure exactly what bike I would build, considering my love for so many different disciplines in this industry, but I do know it would have a lot of titanium on it! (Lol.)

What’s your favorite biking memory or adventure, and what made it so special?
Racing BMX is definitely my fondest memory of biking. The relationships I’ve built and the people who are still a significant part of my life today make it special.

If you could ride any trail or path in the world, where would it be, and what’s the first thing you’d do once you got there?
I’d love to go to Whistler and ride all the trails and jumps there.

What unique skill or hobby do you have outside of biking that you think makes you a great addition to the Savage Bicycles team?
I enjoy good company and food, listening to people’s stories, and learning how we came to cross paths. I also really like Legos; it’s a passion I’ve had since I was a kid. Additionally, I love going to car shows and basketball games.
